Bio

I am currently a PhD student and Graduate Fellow in Rhetoric, Theory, and Culture at Michigan Technological University, USA. I hold Master of Philosophy in English Linguistics and Language Acquisition from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and Bachelor of Arts in English and Linguistics from the University of Ghana. My teaching and research interests include critical discourse studies, language policy and planing, language of science and technology, critical theory, and rhetorical theory. I maintain active research effort in these areas and recently published in Music and Messaging in African Political ArenaMulticultural Shakespeare, and Covenant Journal of Language Studies etc. In 2018, I received Graduate Program Fellowship in the Department of Humanities, Michigan Technological University. I also received Quota Scheme Scholarship in Norway from 2013 to 2015. In addition, I engage in creative writing and my poems appeared or are forthcoming in Prairie Schooner, North Dakota Quarterly, Dunes Review, The Oakland Review, Drift, Kalahari Review and elsewhere. My current project interrogates postcolonial technological discourse through comaprative rhetoric, decolonial theory and critical discourse analysis.
